How to build a rage lead with Kitsune
[DATUM] · 3 min read · [AUTOR]

A rage lead needs punch, bite and a bit of dirt. With Kitsune you don't have to learn synthesis for that – you need one preset and a few knobs.
1. Load a preset
Open the [CATEGORY] category and load RAGE SIREN. That's your starting point.
2. Turn up RAGE
The RAGE macro adds compression, distortion and highs at once. Turn it up until the lead sits at the front of the mix.
3. Round it off with DARKEN
If it gets too sharp, pull out highs with DARKEN. Lowpass and distortion make the sound darker and dirtier.
4. Space with FLOAT
For hooks that should sound wide: FLOAT adds reverb, stereo width and detune.

Tip: switch on Auto Glide and the notes glide into each other – like 808 slides.
